Understanding strengths, challenges, and how they work together.

Offering comprehensive testing in person or virtually identifying obstacles and strengths that impact goals, general functioning and/or success with learning. Within two weeks of the final testing session, a comprehensive report of findings and recommendations is provided to support individuals, healthcare providers, and educational institutions in making informed decisions regarding medical care, learning accommodations, or everyday functioning. Evaluations provide information ranging from executive functions, attention, memory, intellectual potential, reasoning, mental processing speed and effectiveness, understanding visual and verbal relationships, academic potential and present level of development, learning challenges and potential, social development, present levels of academic achievement, emotional status as well as how these aspects may impact overall functioning.

Individualized therapeutic support

Our practice is offered in person and virtually and utilizes an individualized combination of therapy that can include research-based techniques within a supportive environment. We focus on working through challenges stemming from painful experiences, which can involve relationships and family distress, rejection, social challenges, caregiving challenges, PTSD, complex prolonged neglect and trauma, OCD, humiliation and other painful or overwhelming experiences.

The goal of therapy at Pathways Cognitive Health is to foster steps toward inner strength, stability, and a general sense of contentment that supports continued emotional growth. Techniques may include EMDR, guided relaxation, art therapy, projective measures, and narrative exposure therapy (NET), depending on individual needs.
